Albany Board of Education meeting for March has been moved to Thursday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m.
Ruby Holcomb is a 3rd grade student in Mrs. Wiles classroom. Her teacher said the following, "I can always count on Ruby to be honest in all situations. She understands the importance of taking ownership of one's choices and is quick to accept responsibility for her actions. She is consistently honest in her daily activities with both peers and adults."
Myla Owens: Her teacher said the following, "Myla is very honest and dependable. I can count on her to do the right thing, help others to do the right thing, and always show honesty in everything she does."

Mrs. Wellers 1st grade class won the classroom competition for Pennies for Patients by raising $96 for their room. They got to pick out Mrs. Garland's hair color since she won the lower hallway hair dye competition by raising $166 in her jar!
Mrs. Nichols class won the classroom competition for Pennies for Patients by raising over $200 for their room. They got to pick out Mrs. Dolan's hair color since she won the upper hallway hair dye competition by raising $136 in her jar!
The total raised for the hair dye competition was $396!!

Albany will be hosting the Class 2, District 16 Boys Tournament this year. The boys begin District play Tuesday night @ 7 PM! Let's show up LOUD AND PROUD, A-Town!

ROAD TRIP! Head over to Maysville tomorrow night and cheer our Lady Warriors on to victory as they begin the first round of Class 2, District 16 tournament play! Note that all girls district games will be played in Maysville while boys district action will be in Albany.
