MAP testing is just around the corner for VEG Elementary. We are looking for snack donations for the students while they are testing. The students love to have a treat in between their testing sessions. Snacks like prepackaged granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks, and trail mix are a hit! We also like to have peppermints on hand as well. If you would like to donate, please send those to the elementary school with your child by April 7th. Thank you so much!!
Shoutout to the boys in green on getting their first victory of the season! #WarriorPride
Last night, MS Scholar bowl won both matches against South Harrison. This concludes their season with a record of 4-2. Thank you Mrs. Meyer for coaching and congratulations to the AMS Scholar bowl team!

February's word of the month was Honesty.
Adalyn Wilson is a 3rd grade student in Mrs. Wiles classroom. She can always be counted on to be honest. She is quick to present the truth in any situation, even if it's not in her favor. When she finds warrior bucks she always turns them in instead of keeping them for herself.
Rio Cline is a kindergarten student in Mrs. Crawford's class. Rio communicates truthfully and in a respectful way with classmates, teachers, & staff. She stays very true to herself and the rules and expectations of the classroom. When she makes a mistake, she owns her mistakes and does not do it again
Mrs. Israel teaches a 30 minute, project based learning (PBL) class that focuses on community service. We at VEG Elementary call this 30 minute class Warrior Time. If you would like to donate an unopened box of cereal for our challenge, send it to Virgina E. George Elementary School in Albany!! The unopened cereal boxes will then be re-donated! Thanks for your support!!!
