We had such a great time welcoming our students and families for our Fall Into Reading Literacy Night! 🍁
It was an evening filled with reading, learning, laughter, and making memories together! We loved seeing our students and families enjoying activities and celebrating the importance of literacy.
A HUGE thank you to our amazing teachers and staff who helped plan and make this event possible! We also want to thank all of our families who took time out of their busy evenings to join us. Your involvement and support mean so much! A special thank you to Alyssa Smith for the fall decor, the Albany FFA for the mums, and our cadet teacher Jayden Hillyard for helping put up our letters!

We celebrated the end of the 1st quarter at VEG Elementary with a little friendly competition! 🎉
As part of our 1st Quarter Incentive Party, students competed in a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament! Each classroom crowned a winner, and those winners went head-to-head to compete for the title of ULTIMATE VEG ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS CHAMPION! 🏆
There was plenty of excitement, cheering, and some serious Rock, Paper, Scissors skills on display! 👊✋✌️

Reminder - the district ACT test is tomorrow morning, Oct 13. Students will leave at 8:00 am to test at the Williford Building and will return to school around lunch time. Vo-Tech students that are signed up for the ACT need to be at the school in time to leave and have been excused from Vo-Tech.
