The decision for VEG Track & Field Day will be announced by 7:45 tomorrow morning. If canceled due to weather, we will reschedule for Tuesday, May 9th. If for some reason it would rain Tuesday, we will move forward with it inside at the high school. Thank you!

Congrats to the Warrior baseball team for securing the #2 seed and first-round bye in the Class 2, District 16 tournament beginning next Thursday, May 11, in Maysville The Warriors will play the winner of NE Nodaway and Penney on Monday, May 15, @ 7 PM. GO, WARRIORS!!!


This morning, our AMSHS students will be serving in the community and enjoying food trucks in the afternoon. It’s going to be a great day!


We are looking to hire a paraprofessional at VEG for the 2023-2024 school year. This position will be working 1-1 with a student and comes with benefits, including board-paid insurance. Selena Velasquez is a 5th grade student in Mr. Ramsey's class. Selena tries her hardest every day and works hard. Things may not always be easy for her, but she keeps trucking on.
Mackenzie Pruitt is a 2nd grade student in Mrs. Humphrey's. Mackenzie works hard and tries her best every day. When something is difficult, she does not get frustrated but continues to approach the task with a positive attitude. She never gives up even when a task is difficult. She knows when to ask for help and how to grow from her mistakes in and outside of the classroom. She encourages others even in the midst of her own struggle. She truly expresses perseverance in everything she does.

Congrats to the Warrior baseball team for their big win against King City last night! Chase Cline was lights-out tossing 6 shutout innings and giving up only 1 hit while Daulton Worrell continued his hot streak going 3 for 3 with a single, two doubles, a walk, and 2 RBIs!


Today is Mr. Engle's last day! He graduates next Saturday from Northwest! We wish him the best of luck!
